Remarkable publication due to Régis Chantelauze, who caused the most important literary event of the XIXth century in Forez. The first 3 volumes, printed at 400 copies on laid paper, are abundantly illustrated with drawings of coats of arms, seals, medallions, portraits... all drawn by A. Steyert. The last one, published in 1897 and printed at 375 copies, contains 3 tables (subjects, persons and places); it was published by the Count of Poncins at his own expense. Wear to the bindings.
