France, World War I. Rare helmet Troupe de Dragon model 1874 camouflaged, circa 1915. Burnished steel bomb for camouflage purposes, with three holes. The back of the bomb is stamped "2" "000" "25D" "73" "3". Crest composed of two fins stamped with a series of 12 gadroons. Mask with palmette in the lower part and medusa head in the upper part. The braided mat is present and the mane is in its effective length of 80 cm. Brass headband, stamped with a flaming pomegranate, surrounded by laurel leaves. Pair of chinstraps with 15 brass scales and rosettes, to the model. Complete with its inner cap in brown basane with six wolf teeth. The basane of the neck cover is missing. The plumet is missing. Complete. Worn. (wear and accidents of use, the brass ring bordering the neck cover is damaged with missing, fairly good condition).
