Description

France, Third Republic (1870-1940). Mannequin of a Captain of the Health Service, circa 1900-14. - Medical Captain's kepi model 35, 1960s period. Plastic visor with a plastic band. Worn. (fairly good condition). - Captain doctor's coat model 1875. Made of fine black cloth, closing vertically with five four-strand goat hair brandebourgs ending in shamrocks and closing with guipées olives. Back decorated with a butterfly chamarrure. Straight collar with collar tabs embroidered gold cannetille with the health corps motif on black background cloth. Captain's rank braids in spearhead on each sleeve. Presence of suspension of decoration on the left chest. Black sateen interior lining. Worn. (wear and small accidents of use, missing an olive guipée, to clean, fairly good condition). - Ham holster model 1876, for revolvers models 1873 and 1874. Brown leather. The manufacturer and reception stamps are missing (flap fixing tab missing, quite good condition). - Officer's breeches of Infantry, Dragon or Cuirassier, model 1888. Privately made, fine madder woolen cloth with black vertical stripes, white cotton lining with green stripes. Martingale present. Worn. (wear and small accidents of use, two or three moth holes, quite good condition). - Artillery troop belt model 1874, in brown leather. Complete. (fairly good condition). - Sword of junior officer of the Health Service, model 1872/84. Cast brass mount, diabolo pommel. Wooden shaft covered with green morocco (later morocco). Keyboard with a snake of Epidaurus flanked by a branch of oak and laurel. Counter-keyboard Manceaux system articulated. Stained gray blade, with two gutters, without manufacturer's markings. Nickel-plated steel scabbard with a ring of suspension, oxidized (fairly good condition). - Cavalry boots in black leather. Smooth leather soles. L. 28 cm. (wear, fairly good condition). - Realistic plastic mannequin. H. 1,88 m. (good condition).
