Henri Gabriel IBELS Swimmers, 1897 Original lithograph in color on fine wove paper Signed in the plate Size 39 x 29 cm The sheet bears the publisher's stamp and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix. The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1897. It was part of this eponymous portfolio which represented the reproductions of the most beautiful posters illustrated by the great artists of the time. Rare supplement plate that was only offered to subscribers.
