Cuirassier helmet model 1830, white polished iron bomb, stamped: "L R 857", iron visor and helmet cover, edged with brass snap ring, stamped brass crest, brass headband decorated in the center with a flaming grenade between two laurel branches, black horsehair brush with large mane, red horsehair marmoset; brass wire chinstraps forming "8's" mounted on black patent leather, round rosettes adorned with rays, screw-mounted; wolf-tooth leather interior. It is presented with a red plume with pompom and olive (a small hole at the level of the number on the head cover which misses the leather; mane probably changed). Louis-Philippe period. Good condition.
