STENDHAL, Henri Beyle dit (1783-1842) Writer. Autograph signed will addressed from Paris, to his cousin Romain Colomb, who will become his biographer and executor. The drafting of the manuscript, written on a double sheet, of format in-8, was begun on December 4, 1828, as Stendhal indicates before his signature, but that this last one took back on December 6, corrected the date, confirming in the back his wills towards his cousin. The first sheet gives well the intention of the writer to leave a will, it also indicates the recipient, his cousin living in Godot de Mauroy street. This will forms one of the 8 or 10 wills left by Stendhal. 3 pages.
