"Gabriel ANDRAL (1797-1876), French pathologist and professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris. Through his work on blood diseases, he is considered the founder of hematology. Set of 3 signed manuscript pieces: an order of June 27, 1845, and two autograph letters, of May 4, 1834 to a colleague asking him to go and see a patient, and of May 1, 1819 to Dr. Boisseau about a diploma of the Société Médicale d'Emulation. (2 pages 1/2 in-8). Attached an engraved portrait."
