Rooster movement, verge escapement, mechanism signed and numbered 603. 18th century, probably circa 1750. Gross weight 77.4 g. A gold guilloche KEY and a hand KEY are included. Jean-Baptiste Baillon (1727-1772), watchmaker to Queen Marie Leczinska in 1751, became watchmaker to the dauphine Marie-Antoinette.
