L.a.s. to Monsieur le Chevalier Frost, perpetual secretary of the Société de Navigation d'Angleterre, Paris, May 16, 1833, 1 ½ p. in-8. She recommends to him "two persons who are going to England and who are [her] most intimate friends." - CREMIEUX (Adolphe), lawyer and politician (Nîmes 1796-Paris 1880). L.a.s. on the letterhead of the Ministère de la Justice - Cabinet du Garde des Sceaux, 2 ½ pp. in-8. Bordeaux, January 22, 1871. To "Monsieur l'Amiral and dear colleague". In the context of the war, he reminds that a special decree forbids taking high schools and colleges as asylums for ambulances of wounded or sick. - GIPS (Wilhelmine), Dutch singer (Dordrecht 1843-La Haye 1895).
