In-12 brown calf, spine decorated, garnet morocco title-piece (period binding). Frontispiece engraved in intaglio, not signed. The Original Edition dates from 1669. Ours, uncommon, belongs to the small group of firsts, with many similarities (Ref. Tchemerzine, VI, 394 and following). It is well completed with the poem "Adonis" at the end of the volume. The gilt coat of arms in the center of the boards was scratched off during the revolutionary period. Small damages to the headpieces, dull corners, interior in good condition.
