TOUBEAU (Jean). The Institutes of Consular Law, or the Jurisprudence of Merchants. A work of great assistance to the Palace, useful to all merchants and traders, and necessary to judges and consuls. Paris, Jean Guignard, 1682. In-4 granite calf, spine gilt, gilt title, speckled edges (period binding). Lack of leather at one corner, rubbing, small freckles. Fairly good copy with a fresh interior, but at least one leaf is missing and there is some spotting at the end of the book. Expert : Jean-Louis Beauvais
