Large in-8 full black morocco, triple gilt fillet in frame, gilt decoration à la Du Seuil on the boards, spine decorated with nerves, gilt roulette on the edges, small gilt inner lace, gilt edges on marbling (binding of the time). Text entirely ruled in red ink, laid out on two columns, the original in Latin, the French translation opposite. The translation is by Michel de Marolles, abbot of Villeloin, and the explanation of the Mysteries by Daniel de Cigongne. Old handwritten bookplates. 2 beautiful full-page figures engraved in intaglio, unsigned. Covers bumped, corners dulled.
