Malaga-born painter specialising in the floral and landscape genre. Likewise, he also practised the genre of genre painting. He took part in the Fine Arts Exhibition in Madrid in 1887. In this peaceful landscape, the still water of the lagoon absorbs and reflects like a crystalline mirror the silver and mauve colours of a sky furrowed with faint clouds. A grove of trees embroider the contours of the lake with a carefully studied touch of greenery.
