Height 46 - Width 23,4 - Depth 14,5 cm The region of Arles-sur-Tech was plagued by violent storms during the 11th century. The abbot of Arnulphe decided to place himself under the protection of the relics of Saints Abdon and Sennen. He went to Rome in search of them and returned with the remains of the saints in a barrel. The water drawn from this container had miraculous virtues. From then on, the barrel took the name of holy grave and the saints Abdon and Sennen protected this region of the Eastern Pyrenees.
