"Lesson of reading under the glance of Minerva" imposing Flemish tapestry in wool resulting from a series having for topic "the liberal Arts". Monogrammed in bottom on the right M.W. for the workshop of Michel Wauters. Mention "Gramatica" in the architecture. The iconography of the hen and chicks is borrowed from an engraving of "The Grammar of Cornelis Cort" after Frans Floris. A certificate from Guy Delmarcel is attached. Flemish work.
