Description
Antwerp cabinet in ebony veneer and red tortoiseshell opening with two doors revealing an architectural interior with ten drawers, two of which are secret. A central door flanked by two Doric columns opens onto a theater decorated with mirrors and a checkerboard in bone and ebony marquetry. A large drawer occupies the lower register while a compartment at the top is lined with a mirror. It rests on a later blackened wood base with twisted legs and struts. Flemish work. Period : XVIIth.
