A Late 19th/Early 20th Century Lacquered Papier-mâché Vase inlaid with mother-of-pearl & nacre, and raised on an integrated stand. The vase of shouldered hexagonal baluster form; each side inalid with a Shou emblem to the neck above sprays of flowering plants incorporating butterflies and birds, displayed against a shimmering copper flecked ground. The ebonised stand on six scroll legs with further mother of pearl inlay, 28'' (71 cm) in height.
