A Flemish rosewood, gilt bronze and tortoiseshell cabinet on stand. Antwerp. 18th century. Blackened pear wood, blackened wood, rosewood, red-tinted tortoiseshell veneer, gilt bronze and ripple-cut mouldings. Central door decorated with raised boss containing an interior, surrounded by eight drawers. On top crowned with a pediment containing volutes and balustrade. With an extendable writing surface. On a later stand with four spirally turned legs joined by a flat stretcher. 156 x 90,5 x 48.5 cm
