ATTRIBUÉ À FRANÇOIS-HONORÉ- GEORGES JACOB-DESMALTER (1770 – 1841)

Flat desk in flamed Cuban mahogany veneer opening with three drawers in line and two pulls in the belt. The top is lined with dark Moroccan leather marked with small irons. The base in inverted consoles rests on a skid. Beautiful ormolu and chased locks decorated with dolphins. Beginning of the 19th century. Height : 80 cm - Width : 164 cm Depth : 82 cm The extreme quality of execution of this desk as well as the general line make us think that this piece of furniture could be a work of François-Honoré-Georges Jacob Desmalter who was the supplier of the imperial palaces.
