Pair of finely chiseled gilt bronze torches, the shaft centered by a bulge from which curves and counter-curves of foliage escape to form a cartouche. The tulip-shaped tap is covered with a scalloped bob. The sinuous and molded base is divided into three compartments punctuated with scrolls and acanthus leaves in staples. Louis XV period, around 1740. Height : 28 cm
