Suzanna and the Elders. Between 1633 and 1636. Woodcut, inscribed below in the middle 'P. P. Rub. delin. et exc./ Cum Privilegiis', and 'Christoffel Jegher sc'. A very fine, warm, black impression, trimmed to the borderline. First state of two. In the second one, there is no more mention of Rubens' name. Framed. Under Rubens’s supervision, Christoffel Jegher made a woodcut reproducing the lost composition in reverse.
