A380. MSN13. COCKPIT. Escape rope and its cover. By unit. Dimensions: approx. 70cm X 50cm. COMMENTS : This rope allows the evacuation of the cockpit through the sliding side windows in case of extreme emergency and with no other way out. The procedure is epic as the crew, while holding the rope tightly, flips head first out of the cockpit and then rotates 180° so that they are feet down (that's better!), then descends along the rope like in elementary school. Needless to say, the beginning of the procedure is not really engaging! But in case of extreme emergency, no hesitation!
