The workshops of the house Giroux produce towards the end of the Second Empire. Created by François-Simon-Alphonse Giroux, the house is specialized in the manufacture of fine objects, Louis XVIII and Charles X frequented it. From 1860 to 1870, the style was influenced by the Japanese taste as shown by this pair of vases. The house closed in 1885.
