The elongated shape of the pages is reminiscent of palm leaf manuscripts. The polychrome rosettes are reminiscent of the bindings of these ancient manuscripts. This page is illustrated with a crowned figure under a parasol, conversing with a yogi, in red, white and gold on a blue background.
