Description

AFFICHE POLITIQUE. F.A.P. Journées culturelles anti-impérialistes.

At. F.A.P. [Atelier du Front des Artistes Plasticiens]. Anti-imperialist cultural days. Support to the peoples in struggle. October 11 and 12, 1975 at the Cartoucherie de Vincennes. Debates, songs, theater, films, exhibitions, balls, bouffes, cribs, etc... at the initiative of CEDETIM and 31 anti-imperialist committees and organizations. Paris, Atelier F.A.P. - imprimerie SIM, 1975. 90 x 57,5 cm, printing from a serigraphy, poster folded in four. The Front des Artistes Plasticiens (F.A.P.) is formed in Paris in the direct continuity of the Ateliers Populaires des Beaux-Arts and of the graphic insurrection of May 1968. From 1971 until the beginning of the 1980s, the productions of the F.A.P. are weapons of information and anti-capitalist aesthetic protest. This poster is very representative of the close link they claim between artistic and political action. The group always signs collectively; the main artist, Claude Rédélé, welcomed among other members: Le Parc, Fromanger, de Rougemont, La Vigne, Lazar, Bouvier, Attali, Matieu, Peignot... Very good condition.
