CREICHE Albert (XXth) "Le pas de L'Oie", funny caricature typical of the year 1944, showing A. Hitler chased out of France with a good kick in the butt by the Maquis, pencil and watercolor SBG dated 1944. On the back Albert Creiche wrote a poem on an official photo of Hitler: "Man, you are only a man, to Adolf Hitler... Man, you are only a man; by virtue of what right do you claim to command men, Do you really ignore that we are thinking beings, And that without your diktats we can walk straight? ..... Format 33, 5 X 26, 5 cm. Framed under glass. ABE This poem written on May 1st, 1944 could have caused serious problems to its author, it is in itself an act of resistance on behalf of this artist from Blois.
