It is carefully notated in brown ink on 18-line paper, and signed and located at the end "J. Massenet Paris". Attached is a L.A.S., Paris November 29, 1892, [to Pauline Viardot], before a premiere: "support me, and remember that without you Marie Magdeleine would never have been performed!"... (3 p. in-8).
