Very rare edition of the religious quatrains of the sieur de La Primaudaye (1546-c. 1619), protestant poet who was ordinary gentleman of the chamber of Henri III and then counsellor master of the hotel of Henri IV.
Brunet, t. III, col. 837, cites after La Croix du Maine an in-4 edition published in Paris by Pierre l'Huillier which he believes to be earlier than this one.
