In-8, red morocco, Du Seuil decoration in cold, the small gilt corner fleurons, gilt arabesque cartouche in the center, ornate spine, interior lace, gilt edges on marble (Binding of the second half of the 19th century). Very rare work of religious poetry, divided into seven centuries of quatrains, in which Brother Anselme du Chastel, a celestine religious who died at the end of the 16th century, recalls the main duties of a Christian. This edition is the second, after the original published a year earlier by the same publisher. Both have escaped most bibliographies and were missing from the major poetic libraries (De Backer, Herpin, and Viollet-le-Duc, among others). A 19th century handwritten note on a flyleaf emphasizes the rarity of the work: Poète fort rare. This work has not passed in any sale of our time. Soiling to the leaf K8 v°. Restoration at the foot of the title and on the introductory leaf at 3, tear without missing restored at the bottom of the last leaf L2.
