Booklet in-8, orange morocco, jansenist, gilt title on spine, interior lace, gilt edges (M. Godillot). First edition under this title, it seems, of this speech adapted from De sacra Francisci II Galliarum regis initiatione (1559) by Michel de L'Hospital (see previous lot). The edition is rare: Baudrier, who probably has not seen it, quotes it after Brunet. One finds at the end, the translation by Scévole de Sainte-Marthe of a Latin epistle by L'Hospital, written shortly before the coronation of the King to Monseigneur le Chancellier Olivier.
