In-4, eggplant morocco, framed with fillets and a large cold roulette, central medallion with interlacing motifs charged in the center with a gilt figure with interlaced ER initials, ornate spine, interior lace, gilt edges (Pagnant). Third edition, including 301 pieces, 18 of which are unpublished. It contains the two books of the Amours, diverses amours et autres œuvres mêlées, the Amours d'Hippolyte, the Élégies, and his imitations taken from Ariosto: those of the Roland furieux, the Mort de Rodomont et sa descente aux enfers, the Complainte de Bradamant, and Angélique. A copy from the Emmanuel Rodocanachi library, perfectly bound for him with his cipher. Soiling to the title with minor restorations to the edge. Last leaf rewrapped at the foot.
