Blade with gutters signed Coulaux Aîné & Cie Manufr. Nat. of Klingenthal. Brown leather scabbard with two steel fittings, cap signed on the back "Verdier, rue Richelieu n°102". Knob of chape in round-bosse with decoration of head of fox. About 1850B .E . Verdier, forger specialized in hunting knives, about 1840-1850, rue de Richelieu and rue des filles Saint Thomas .
