2 enhanced goose games. 19th c. Mounted by the upper edges on supporting sheets. In a plastic sleeve. 1. Mystery game of Paris. S.l., s.n., [c. 1855]. Lithogr. heightened in color and gold, stained vellum 43 x 53.5 cm. Good condition. Probably published in Nancy by Jarville or Dembour and Gangel. That is to say 63 squares in spiral depicting various characters of the famous eponymous novel by Eugène Sue, published in 1842-43. The box 63 figures Fleur-de-Marie as an abbess, the angular cartridges represent 4 episodes of the work. Rare. Ref. Cp. Carnavalet Museum. - 2. new set of French ladies' costumes. S.d. Vellum 28,5 x 38,5 cm (small tear in the upper left part). Reduced and enhanced reproduction of an old engraving published by Langlumé.
