[Curiosa] [manuscript] : Anonymous : Collection of several pieces of poetry. One volume. 12 pr 18,5 cm. (10)-(4 bl.)-307 pages. Full contemporary calf, spine with five raised bands, ornate boards, red title page. Small flaws on the upper spine (not serious), small lack of leather on the second cover. Very good condition inside (very rare freckles, a small wormhole without missing on the first 20 leaves). Collection of poems and tales in verse, dating from the 18th century. These are saucy or light-hearted pieces, sometimes taken from other authors, like the epigram on page 157, which is by Armand Louis de Vignerot-Duplessis-Richelieu duc de Aiguillon, a licentious author. Two pieces are attributed to Piron. But one can imagine that a part of the poems are originals 110 poems, epigrams or tales, sometimes in the spirit of the tales of LA FONTAINE, sometimes more erotic, preceded by 8 pages of table. Very legible writing. A rare set.
