Charlotte PERRIAND (1903-1999) (Selection of the artist from a traditional model) - Former Collection Jean PREVERAL, architect, collaborator of Le Corbusier in the late 1940s "Traditional stool n° 17, high version" model selected by Charlotte Perriand from [1938], our series of seats made around 1952, from a BCB (Bureau de coordination du bâtiment) edition - Georges Blanchon Suite of 3 high stools. The legs and the struts in ash. Two seats (re)straw, one upholstered later with black vinyl. H. 70 cm - L. 38 cm - P. 38 cm Condition of use, mulching redone and not original on two stools, one seat covered formerly but not original black vinyl. Provenance: - Jean Préveral, architect, collaborator of Le Corbusier in the late 1940s. Work acquired around 1952. - Work remained in the descendants of the previous one.
