French travel clock or table clock for import, mainly sold in England. It is made of wood, hand-painted with a romantic scene as a central motif and floral decoration around the dial, on the top and the sides, on a green background. It is decorated with gilded bronze appliqués, showing the French Rococo influence of the period.
