Description

Pair of Fernandina chairs, first third of the 19th century. Walnut wood structure and bulrush seats. It has xylophages. Needs restoration. Measurements: 88 x 43 x 45 cm. Pair of Fernandina period chairs, in walnut wood. The design is based on the French influence of the Empire period, although it tends towards a taste for curves (noticeable in the slight curvature of the backrest) and a discreet ornamentation. The back of both chairs is decorated with lyre ornamentation.
