Flintlock infantry rifle, modified with percussion on capsule. Model 1822 Tbis (composite). Smooth barrel, dated 1831, numbered 363. Caliber 18 mm [see inscription on rifle: "C de 18"]. Breechblock marked "1822 Tbis". Iron lock with flat body, signed "M[anufactu]re R[oya]le de S[ain]t Etienne". Iron fittings. Walnut shaft and stock, marked "Tulle" with factory stamp, dated 1863. With an iron ramrod. With a bayonet with socket and triangular blade, numbered 1784. Barrel length: 103 cm - Total rifle length (without bayonet): 141 cm - Bayonet length: 45.2 cm. Old oxidations; scratches and numerous shocks to the barrel and the stock; corroded ramrod; blade of the bayonet slightly twisted towards the heel.
