Handwritten charter on vellum (11 x 29 cm) drawn up on July 8, 1416: Emeline de LA FONTAINE, humble prioress of the Church of Charme and the entire convent of the same place acknowledge having received from the receiver of Valois the sum of 48 sous parisis that the convent takes each year from the tonlieu of La Ferté-Milon. [The tonlieu in feudal law was the tax collected on the display of goods in the markets].
