Jean PATTOU (born in 1940). "View of the City of La Madeleine, North", watercolor and graphite, signed lower right (at sight: 52 x 71.5 cm) Jean Pattou is an architectural painter who notably realized the monumental decoration of the Lille-Europe subway station in Lille. This drawing of the Madeleine is part of a set on the theme of the cities of the North as part of a commission for the Caisse d'Epargne de Flandres.
