Maison ANCELY - L. GIRARD & Cie à Toulouse - transformable necklace in platinum 850/°° and white gold 750/°° that can also form a BRACELET and a PENDANT. The BRACELET forming a river of old cut diamonds in closed setting beaded in fall of 0.45 ct to 0.08 ct. Total weight of diamonds: 4 ct approximately. L 18.5 cm. The "Star" PENDANT is entirely set with old-cut diamonds, one of which is more important in the center of a cushion-shaped oval of about 0.8 ct and topped by four smaller diamonds. The star was to be worn in a BRACKET (missing the system and the tool). Dim. of the star : 3.2 cm. French work, circa 1880/90. Small chips on the diamonds. Brown leather case of the house Ancely, 63 rue de la Pomme TOULOUSE. Red velvet inside revealing the elements of transformation (missing a screwdriver and pin).
