P.S. by 11 Représentants du Peuple près l'Armée & dans les Départements de l'Ouest, et des côtes de Brest & de Cherbourg, Nantes 8 ventôse III (February 26, 1795); 1 page folio, vignette and header, with motto Humanité Justice. Extension to the Chouans of the treaty of pacification of the Vendée signed on February 17 at La Jaunaye with Charrette and the Vendéen leaders. The Representatives "decide that the decrees previously taken by them on the twenty-ninth Pluviose, relating to the pacification of the Vendée, in the number of five, will apply in their provisions to the Chouans who will submit to the Laws of the French Republic, one & indivisible, & will promise never to carry the weapons against it, as it i nt made the twenty-ninth Pluviose CHARETTE & the Chiefs of the Vendée ". The signatories are the conventioneers Philippe BOLLET, Louis-Urbain BRUË, Étienne CHAILLON, Pierre-Marie DELAUNAY, Claude DORNIER, François Joseph JARY, Louis Prosper LOFFICIAL, Henri MENUAU, Charles MORISSON, André POMME the American and Albert RUELLE.
