Volumes III and IV contain tales by VOLTAIRE, VERGIER, SÉNECÉ, PERRAULT, MONCRIF, DUCERCEAU, GRÉCOURT, AUTEREAU, SAINT-LAMBERT, CHAMFORT, PIRON, DORAT, LA MONNOYE, and FRANÇOIS DE NEUFCHATEAU. The illustration consists of a portrait on the frontispiece, and 116 engraved vignettes in the text, 65 of which are for La Fontaine's tales, most of them by DUPLESSIS-BERTAUX (Cohen, 859.)
