Paris, Marcel Sautier, 1948-1952. 2 volumes large in-4 burgundy morocco, boards decorated with a large and beautiful radiant decoration composed of gilt and cold filets, extending to the spine, smooth spine, title in gilt letters surmounting three small gilt and cold rings, gilt tr. on witnesses, lining and endpapers of dark brown suede, illustrated covers preserved, in black marble spine and flap folders lined with white skin and slipcases with edges (Georges Cretté). 200 lithographs in black (plates, vignettes, covers) by Ed. Goerg. Edition at 200 copies on vélin du Marais; n°15 of 20 with a separate suite on Malacca tinted for each volume, entirely mounted on tabs and to which was attached the speech of Waldemar Georges delivered on the occasion of the presentation of the sword of academician to Goerg (edition at 150 copies, n°124). A superb copy in a sumptuous binding by G. Cretté.
