In-12 oblong (ca. 10 x 13 cm), blue paper boards, embossed paper cover, gilt edges (period binding). Very rare curiosa illustrated with a title and 17 engravings, all finely colored at the time and printed on strong wove paper. Each plate is captioned in French and English: "Le repas champêtre", "Les délices du printemps", "Invocation", "Les deux tétons", "L'heureux calcule", "L'extase", "Les charmes de la masturbation", "L'heureuse conjonction", "La walse d'amour", "La victoire d'amour", "L'heureuse position", "L'attente voluptueuse", "L'aimable bidet", "L'évanouissement", "La gamahuche", "Le boudoire champêtre" and "Astre de la vie". This title is not found in bibliographies or public libraries. Dutel (A-384) describes a similar work, but with a French title and with only 11 plates instead of the 18 available here. But it is a vertical rectangular format with smaller pictures (ca. 13 x 8.5 cm). Nice condition of this rare work especially in period colors.
