Missing the title leaf. 5036 issues described. Marbled fawn calf, spine ribbed and decorated, red title page, framed with cold fillet on the boards, spotted with red (period binding). Upper spine trimmed, one corner damaged. An important collection of the Abbé Charles d'Orléans de Rothelin (1691-1744), doctor of theology of the House and Society of Sorbonne, considered as one of the most famous bibliophiles and numismatists of his time. His extraordinary library, of which he kept the catalog and of which he was not very stingy, was put up for sale only from 14 April to 17 June 1749.
