Reunion of two beautiful and rare complete suites by Ridinger, mounted on tabs and devoted to game and hunting. They are respectively composed of a title and 100 engraved plates for the first one, and a title, a leaf and 23 plates for the second one. All the plates are mounted on tabs. One finds hunting and game scenes, exotic animals such as a rhinoceros, beautiful horses, various animals such as lions, deer and badgers in their natural environment. Johann Elias Ridinger (1698-1767) was considered one of the most prominent engravers in Augsburg and was famous for his animal engravings.
