[Episcopal Ceremonial]. Caeremoniale episcoporum iussu Clementis VIII. Bridge. Max. Reformatum... Paris, Impensis Societatis Typographicae Librorum Officii Ecclesiastici, 1633. In-folio red morocco, spine with richly decorated nerves, gilt title, Du Seuil-style framing on the boards, gilt roulette on the edges and the covers, gilt edges (period binding). Small beginning of cracks on two spines, small restoration on one spine, small rubbing on the edges and corners, small scratch on a finial, very small lack of leather on the upper edge of the 2nd plate. The illustration consists of a beautiful engraved frontispiece title, beautiful copper-engraved lettering, a headband, and 68 very beautiful engraved figures in the text, including 1 full-page (the rest on about 1/3 of the page) after Michel van Lochom. Beautiful black and red printing on 2 columns, with some passages of notated music. Some ff. slightly browned. A very nice copy.
