A sumptuous reproduction of the Book of Hours commissioned by the Torriani family and made in Milan between 1490 and 1495 by the workshop of Giovanni Ambrogio de Predisis and with the help of Matteo da Milano. In addition to the rich decorative apparatus consisting of 30 full-page miniatures and numerous artistic borders, the codex keeps intact the original rich binding made of gilded metal and ivories by Milanese workers.
