Pair of columns. Spain, 17th century. Carved wood, traces of gilding. Important faults in the carving, live xylophages and losses. Measurements: 125 x 20 x 20 cm. Pair of carved wooden columns. With a slightly convex shaft, their grooves draw sinuous grooves. The capitals are Corinthian, following classical models of this composite order: the acanthus leaves, which start from a moulded astragalus, form the tulip on which the volutes sit.
